As required by the FCC, this page explains my disclosure policy, including how I use affiliate links and reviews.  My posts may include affiliate links for products that I am discussing in a post.

Normally, I will not recommend a product that I don’t know much about or haven’t used myself.  I might recommend a newer version if a product has been updated and it would make sense to buy the newer model.  An example would be something like my 12-year-old Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme, which is an older bread machine and pizza dough secret weapon.

If you buy a product through one of my links, I will receive a small payment from the company (such as Amazon or eBay) for sending them business.  This is at no cost to you as a buyer, and you will pay the same price with or without my recommendation.

If a company sends me a free product to review, I will give you my honest opinion about the value: the good, the bad, and the ugly.  I will expressly tell you if I have received a free product.

Why do I bother with affiliate links?  I am a widowed mom with teens and young adults either in college or getting ready to go to college.  If I make a little extra cash with my blog, I have the power to do more for my family.  No investment is better than an investment in your children.

If you ever have questions about products that I am recommending, please ask in the comments.  I will do my best to give you a useful answer whenever possible.

Cindy
