The Funniest: Kramer Gets Stuck in Skinny Jeans
Earlier this summer, I noticed Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee when I was browsing Netflix. I’ve always thought Jerry Seinfeld was funny so I jumped right into binge-watching the series.
When I got to the episode in season 1 where Jerry and Michael Richards go for coffee in a beat up VW bus, I started thinking about the original Seinfeld series. When Seinfeld was on TV back in the 90s, I was busy taking care of my small children so I never really got to watch it on a regular basis.
Hulu has the entire series, so I started mixing in episodes of Seinfeld. George was just as annoying and neurotic as ever. Jerry was still a neat freak. Elaine was still, well, Elaine. And Kramer was still a hipster doofus.
In fact, I spent a fair amount of time this summer watching Seinfeld. When I got to season 7, episode 21, I knew that this was one of the funniest things I had ever seen. The episode is called “The Wait Out.” Jerry and Elaine are “waiting” to swoop in on a married couple that just split up.
Kramer totally steals the show when he gets stuck in a pair of skinny jeans. I laughed so hard I could barely stand up. Hiccups ensued.
